Hey Everyone!

I hope you all had an excellent summer! Unfortunately it's coming to an 
end... but that means we are close to putting our new remote trailer 
into service!

I have been busy this summer in the TV studio: On top of the new trailer 
to replace the bus, we have a new foam floor for the green screen, new 
75" monitor in the studio and a 55" monitor to replace the old cluster 
of CRT monitors in the control room! It's looking pretty modern in 
there; now we just need HD... more on that later.

Congratulations to the newest members of our GLTV Alumni! Don't forget 
to bring in a pennant or some sort of representation from your college 
to get on the wall! Even though you are starting college you don't have 
to leave the GLTV list (we still have Alumni on here that have already 
graduated from college). I can't imagine why, but if anyone would like

FIRST SHOOT OF THE YEAR!
For this one I'm really going to need all of your help. The Turf at GL 
is nowhere near being complete and we are going to be having the first 
game of the year at Kean University. This is Saturday, Sept. 9th (yes, 3 
days after school starts) so we aren't going to have time to get new 
recruits for the first game. Similar to Thanksgiving I'm going to load 
up the trailer at GL and meet you all down there. You guys have to find 
your own way to to and from Kean. We will meet on the south/west side of 
the field (see attached picture).

Looking into the future... October 28th GL is having its first Battle of 
the Bands! This is being held as a fund raiser for... us! Our 
Supervisor, Mrs. Scott, is organizing this to begin raising the money we 
need to upgrade the studio to HD. More on this as it becomes available.
